Preheat the oven to 400F. Cut the tomatoes in half horizontally. Place the tomatoes in a gratin dish. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and the herbs. Pour over the olive oil. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Mix together the garlic, bread crumbs and parsley. Remove tomatoes from oven and sprinkle with the bread crumb mixture. Broil until golden-brown, about 5 minutes.
